about
While not setting out to end up in Washington DC. Leonard Katsel was born and raised in and around New York City, studying at the School of Visual Arts before making his way south. Trading the city for the hill country of Austin, Texas, and eventually landing a federal role in Washington, D.C.
Today Leonard splits his time between Austin and D.C., producing digital media that has to work across vast audiences. From a social media algorithm to a room full of policymakers. Over the past decade, his grown social platforms from zero to six figures, produced video content that’s reached tens of millions of viewers, and led creative campaigns for brands including Altec Lansing, the Boston Red Sox, and trilateral World Cup public service announcements.
Wherever the work takes him, the approach stays the same: tell the truth, make it look good, and get it done right.
